Description of Project:
Seismic strengthening to Building 9 within the Supa Centa, comprising of six retail tenants, with varying scope in each to ensure the building rating improved to at least 67% NBS.
Role Undertaken:
Pragmatix was engaged by Dexus to be Engineer to the Contract only; administering the Contract, issuing Contract Instructions, approving variations, assessing Payment Certificates, chairing PCG meetings, and completing Pre-Practical Completion inspections and determining PC.
Value added to project:
We helped the client take a more hand-off role by administering the Contract, reviewing performance of the contractor with the Project Manager, assessing and recommending claims.
The project was completed on time and under budget, with minimal intrusion and effect on the tenancies trading with the substantial majority of works undertaken out of hours.
