Pragmatix was engaged by Kiwi Property Group to provide full-spectrum project management to the multi-stage redevelopment of an operational CBD shopping centre in Hamilton.
The redevelopment featured refurbished boutique cinemas, a new dining lane and fully-redeveloped foodcourt, new tenancies for a large number of specialty and mini-major retailers, a new two-level 7,000 square meter department store, significant urban renewal aspects including the pedestrianisation of a city street, car-parking improvements, and a Hoyts national flagship cinema.
Close co-ordination was required between the development team and Council to integrate roading and intersection changes, and integration with council’s significant CBD public space upgrade.
Every stage of this important CBD investment project was completed on-time, safely, within-budget and to high standards of built quality.
