Our scope of involvement is extensive, including the preparation of a business brief for the advancement of scientific work and research, preparation of a workplace strategy, land acquisition and divestment, design and consenting for three major property assets, governance, and board and shareholder approvals. We are responsible for all aspects of development strategy, design, consenting, procurement and delivery by a combination of new-build, refurbishment and relocation. The firm is heavily involved in the integration of client expertise into the designs, specialist scientific, hard and soft fitout for turn-key delivery, all whilst maintaining business productivity and profitability. The programme enjoys a close partnership with Maori and is proceeding predictably under excellent management and extended-team contribution.
Value added to project:
The project started by working with the Client to create their strategic planning and briefing that led to the initial procurement of external experts to allow them to commence the journey on their Future Property Programme. By working with them to truly understand their needs and constraints, we have found 3 separate properties to allow for their Christchurch, Hamilton and Wellington workplaces. Hamilton has been designed, consented and built. Christchurch has been designed and consented and is ready for construction once the economic conditions allow. Lastly, the initially stages for Wellington have also been consented with the final design to be finalised and the construction to follow.
