Description of Project:
Auckland Council’s Workplace Strategy project is the consolidation of council accommodation from multiple locations over 30 months, from the preparation of a workplace strategy to completion of occupant relocation.
Role Undertaken:
Pragmatix provided leadership in change management, project development as well as carried out general Project Management functions throughout the delivery of this large complex programme of work.
Value added to project:
We acted as enablers of change by including council’s deep commitment to workplace as a tool for transformation, the involvement of international specialists in consultation and workplace strategy, dedicated change management resources, and a market-leading ICT strategy.
Green Star certification to 6-Star Office Interiors was achieved. 37,000 square meters of CBD office space was refurbished and fitted out to meet the high standards established in the workplace strategy. Major drivers were minimal cost to change, technology-enabled mobility, location-independent knowledge management, and a shift from individual work-settings to multi-settings to provide flexibility, adaptability and choice in how employees work, and provide purpose-designed environments for every work task.
