Description of Project:
Ruakura Superhub is a project of national significance located on the outskirts of Hamilton. At 610 hectares, Ruakura Superhub is one of Aotearoa, New Zealand’s largest multi-use developments, equivalent to the size of Auckland’s CBD. The superhub currently holds one ground lease and 4 major industrial tenants.
Role Undertaken and Value Added:
Pragmatix provided facilities management support to the Ruakura Superhub team, supporting the Ruakura Precinct Manager to set up practices and systems to streamline management and maintenance of the common assets and individual tenant properties. Our knowledge of the existing assets as part of the team that has delivered several projects has been invaluable to establishing standard operating procedures and standardising occupational information across all assets. Our tasks have involved:
- Standardising and establishing maintenance contracts for 25+ maintenance teams
- Reviewing and verifying as-built information and maintenance requirements
- Management and closeout of DLP periods, assisting in the transition to standard occupation
- Verifying and ensuring maintenance practices are in place for all Compliance Schedules, troubleshooting where required
- Development of documentation and policies to support SOP’s
- Developing H&S plans and procedures
- Tendering for support projects and maintenance contracts
- Providing cover for the Precinct Manager during periods of leave
