Description of Project:
The design and construction of a new sports medicine diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation clinic on Auckland’s North Shore.
Role Undertaken:
Pragmatix was engaged by Axis to project manage the fitout, including landlord, base build contractor / consultant team liaison, and led a highly skilled consultancy team to provide full design and construction monitoring to the client representative and reporting directly to the partners.
Value added to project:
We helped the client understand the design process with specific advice on the delivery of body protect electrical circuits, no threshold accessibility, and design led privacy features to ensure patient confidentiality. In addition, extensive understanding of acoustic and vibration transmission prevention measures to ensure the upper floor level gymnasium did not impact on the Intra radiotherapy suite. We were able to implement their highly technical requirements into the fitout and building while coordinating and dealing with other tenants.
