Jayson is a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with over 15 years in construction and project management, having worked on complex developments across South Africa, Mauritania, and New Zealand. Starting his career in hands-on construction before transitioning into project management, he brings a practical and results-driven approach to delivering projects efficiently. Holding PMP certification and advanced project management training, he has successfully led industrial, master-planning, and residential projects, ensuring they meet cost, quality, and safety expectations. His expertise spans risk management, consenting and regulatory compliance, contract and procurement management, and value engineering, making him well-suited for overseeing projects from inception to completion.
At Pragmatix, Jayson plays a key role in managing large-scale developments, including the Drury Centre and Stride Property Industrial Development. His ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and facilitate smooth project delivery has been instrumental in achieving successful outcomes. On the Drury Centre project, he oversaw earthworks from the consenting stage through procurement and implementation, ensuring efficient programme coordination. His leadership on industrial developments has involved navigating site challenges such as contamination and infrastructure upgrades, working closely with iwi, consultants, and contractors. With a strong background in construction methodologies and programme management, Jayson consistently delivers well-planned, high-quality projects on time and within budget.
