Mike Atkinson brings extensive experience and a proven track record in strategic planning and business consultancy to his role as Independent Chairman of Pragmatix. With over 20 years in the field, Mike has developed a deep understanding of the complexities of business governance and strategy. His career began after graduating from Auckland University of Technology in 2000, swiftly rising to become an Associate Principal in a medium-sized Auckland firm. After a decade, he sought new challenges and co-founded Bellingham Wallace, where his visionary leadership has greatly contributed to its success.

Mike’s expertise spans across a variety of industries and sectors, where he has notably led governance and strategic review initiatives. His approach combines a strategic vision with a practical focus on execution, making him an invaluable leader in navigating businesses through growth and change.

Mike is also a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors, ensuring a robust governance framework under his chairmanship at Pragmatix.
